One of our Licensed Well Techincians here at Marshall Well Drilling is Jake Donaldson. This hard working young man was raised in Huntsville, Ontario and now has roots embedded in Port Sydney, Ontario where he lives with his wife Jodi.
Jake has always had a passion and respect for being in the outdoors, while growing up playing hockey with his brother. In high school, Jake began to grow fond of the idea of travelling around North America working in the Diamond Drilling Industry. In 2014, Jake attended Northern College in Kirkland Lake to become a Surface Diamond driller; graduating from that course obtaining the “Atlas Copco Leadership Award” and being the valedictorian of his class.
From 2014-2015, Jake worked 5000 feet underground at a gold mine in Kirkland Lake as an exploration Diamond Driller; with big sights set to travel within the industry and see some of the more remote natural wonders of Canada & what it has to offer. This dream was short lived however when Jake learned of the water well drilling industry. In 2015, Jake was put in touch with Amy Marshall of Marshall Well Drilling and after learning about the benefits and securities that go with having your own drilled well, he was hooked! Shortly after this meeting, Jake began his career in water well drilling and with Marshall’s. Almost immediately, Jake grew a new passion to obtain and MAINTAIN the earths most precious resource; WATER! Jake Donaldson Almaguin Community Economic Development – ACED

Deegan was born in Huntsville, Ontario and has grown up in Emsdale, Ontario his whole life.
He is avid into sports with his main interests throughout his life being Hockey, Lacrosse, water sports and dirt biking.
We had the pleasure of having Deegan work with us as our Mini Ex Operator three days a week through the remainder of the school year (once school was shut down due to Covid) and throughout our season.
Deegan wants to be a heavy equipment operator and we have no doubt he will be just that; hoping he returns to Marshall Well Drilling year after year.
